About this event
waynapuni pools turns a wrecking yard of old Falcons and Commodores into wood-fired saunas, hot pools and cold plunges on Barangaroo's Stargazer Lawn. The work was created over nine months in lutruwita/Tasmania, where Palawa youth learned design, fabrication and metalwork with artist and industrial designer Benjamin Paul while connecting to culture through ceremony. Now those young people lead the experience on Gadigal Country, sharing it with local First Nations teenagers. Visitors can wander the installation free, or book an immersive bathing ceremony facilitated by young mob.
