Gumbaynggirr artist Aretha Brown leads a free, hands-on beading workshop at Araluen Arts Centre that explores colour, pattern and creative expression. The session honours the often-unseen time, patience and care that goes into beadwork, and encourages participants to slow down and connect through repetitive, meditative making. Blending sculpture, feminine Blak joy and intentional making, it reclaims beading as a feminine practice. The workshop is open to all ages and backgrounds, and bookings are essential.
