About this event
A two-session weaving course at the Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre, running on Friday 23 October and Friday 30 October. An experienced local First Nations weaver guides the group through making baskets and earrings from natural and dyed raffia, and there is plenty of time to yarn while you weave. One ticket covers both sessions.
Good to know
All materials are supplied. Both sessions run 11:00am–12:00pm AWST and one ticket covers both. Refunds are available up until the class commences. The centre is one of the old pilot cottages on Captains Lane overlooking Manjaree | Bathers Beach, open Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 3pm.
