About this event
In Person and streamed online. Workforce participation, retention and career progression are critical levers in advancing equity and opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australian workplaces. This DCA First Nations Insights event sponsored by ANZ will bring together lived experience and practical strategies to explore the drivers of retention and career mobility for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees. We will examine the structural, organisational and cultural barriers that can limit progression, as well as the enablers that foster inclusive, culturally safe and responsive workplaces. The session will highlight the importance of career development—from entry through to leadership pathways—to recognise the diverse and evolving needs of First Nations talent. The panel includes: Fallon Wanganeen (he/him), First Nations Talent & Culture Manager, ANZ Topaz McAuliffe (she/her), Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Fifteen Times Better Kylie Penehoe (she/her), Chief Executive Officer, The Alliance Jessie Murray (he/him), Corporate Partner and Membership Officer, Kinaway Chamber of Commerce Victoria
