Weaving the Everywhen: Connecting with Deep Country in the Present
Event organiser
About this event
Award-winning Central and Eastern Arrernte artist Georgia Boseley fills the Koorie Heritage Trust gallery with an immersive environment of scarred ceramic vessels and canopies of woven seasonal grasses. Drawing on the deep history of First Nations people, the installation imagines a deep future shaped by reciprocity, relationality and care for Country. The work won the 2026 Deadly Fringe Exhibition Grant and is presented with Melbourne Fringe. Entry is free and the show closes on 22 November 2026.
