About this event
Balawun.ga is the debut solo exhibition by Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung artist, curator and teacher Tori Ann Donnelly. Named after the broad-leaved paperbark tea tree in Gumbaynggirr language, the exhibition uses nature as a metaphor for truth-telling. Tori Ann's work explores layers of time, history and identity, revealing enduring ancestral stories, communal care and cultural strength.

In-person exhibition opening. After the opening the gallery is open Tuesday to Friday 9:00am–4:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 9:00am–2:00pm.
