About this event

A two-part cultural learning program for non-Aboriginal carers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, presented by VACCA. Topics include culture and identity, colonisation and its ongoing impacts, cultural connection, discrimination, advocacy, and the role of carers in supporting children’s cultural needs. One two-day program: 9:30am to 3:30pm on both Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September. Open to Victorian foster, kinship and permanent carers only — this is not a general public or staff event. Delivered online via Zoom; registration requires a Carer KaFÉ login.
