About this event
The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sports Awards (NATSISA) is an annual ceremony that celebrates and recognises the exceptional achievements of First Nations athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and sporting organisations. The 2026 awards will honour excellence across a wide range of categories, including sportsperson, senior elder sportsperson, junior sportsperson, coach, volunteer and lifetime achievement. Olympic gold medallist Cathy Freeman AC will appear as special guest speaker, with the event hosted by Dean Widders and Bo de la Cruz. The awards bring together the Indigenous sporting community to celebrate the people who inspire communities through sport.
