About this event
A two-day introductory NCAT training for Aboriginal Community Housing Provider staff, delivered in person by ACHIA NSW. The program builds knowledge of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and confidence in handling tenancy matters. It covers NCAT's purpose, structure and decision-making roles; gathering and presenting evidence; connecting tenancy problems to the Residential Tenancies Act; lodging applications, timelines and hearing preparation; and taking part confidently in tribunal processes. It is designed for staff working in tenancy management, NCAT preparation and hearings, or housing operations and service delivery, and is open to all Aboriginal Community Housing Providers.

Places are limited. Bring a laptop or tablet, your NCAT online services login details and any relevant tenancy documents or case examples. Travel and accommodation reimbursement is available to eligible attendees under ACHIA NSW policy.
