About this event

This event marks the 35th anniversary of the Riawunna Centre for Aboriginal Education at the University of Tasmania. Established in April 1991 to further the higher education goals of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in Tasmania, Riawunna now has a presence across all UTAS campuses, including Inveresk, Cradle Coast, Rozelle and Sandy Bay. The commemoration will bring the community together for a look back at the Centre's history and forward towards the future of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander success at the University of Tasmania.

Good to know

Attendees requiring transport should contact Riawunna Admin; pick-up from the UTAS carpark can be arranged if required. The Centre is located in the Rivers Edge Building, Floor 1, on the Inveresk campus (see Unimaps link for directions).
