About this event
Winhangadurinya is an Aboriginal meditation workshop facilitated by Milan Dhiiyaan — Nyimirr (Fleur Magick Dennis) and Millmullian (Laurance Magick Dennis) — at the Australian Museum. The word Winhangadurinya comes from the Wiradjuri language and means to think, to listen and to reflect. Across two and a half hours participants are guided through Aboriginal meditation practice grounded in connection to Country, breath and deep listening. No experience is needed. Two sessions run on each date, at 10.30am and at 2pm.
Good to know
Held in the Patricia McDonald Education Rooms on the lower ground floor of the Australian Museum. Primarily for adults; people aged 12 and over are welcome if they are able to sit quietly for the full session. There are no late admissions once a session has started.
