Kaurna and Narungga weaver Kahlia Power-Smith shares traditional weaving techniques in a beginner-friendly workshop at Yitpi Yartapuultiku in Port Adelaide. The relaxed, hands-on session is a chance to connect, learn a new skill and enjoy a cultural experience, with all materials provided. Yitpi Yartapuultiku, which translates as the Soul of Port Adelaide, is a cultural centre where Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people come together to learn and share. Places are free but registration is essential, with short sessions through the day.
