About this event
POWER – The Future is Here presents superhero capes designed by Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal students from Alexandria Park Community School with Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay and Biripi artist Dennis Golding. The capes were made in a 2020 Solid Ground workshop and draw on the students' lived experience and cultural identity. Curated by Kyra Kum-Sing and presented at Canberra Contemporary as part of the Craft + Design Canberra Festival.

Open Tue–Sat 11am–5pm. Wheelchair accessible, accessible bathroom, off-street parking. Free opening event Fri 6 Nov, 6–8pm.
