Join us to celebrate the launch of the new Youth Participation Kit. The Youth Participation Kit is a practical, accessible resource designed to support young people across Western Australia to get involved, have a say and make a difference in their communities. Co-designed with young people, the Kit includes up-to-date resources, templates and tips to support meaningful participation. This event is hosted by the Ministerial Youth Advisory Council. At this event, you’ll: · Be among the first to explore the Youth Participation Kit · Hear from the Minister for Youth · Learn about opportunities to get involved · Connect with other young people · Learn how you can start making an impact · Eat delicious food! Whether you’re passionate about creating change, building your skills or connecting with others, this is a great place to start. Who should attend Young people who are interested in: · Getting involved in their community · Building skills and confidence · Meeting like-minded people What to expect · Informal and welcoming atmosphere · Delicious food · Opportunities to connect and learn more about what’s next Transport information · The Perth Station is approximately 300 metres (5-minute walk) to the Shoe Bar. The Joondalup Line, Mandurah Line, Armadale Line, Fremantle Line, and Midland Line converge at the Perth Station, allowing for easy access to the Shoe Bar. The Perth Busport is also approximately 200 metres (2-minute walk) away from the Shoe Bar. · Parking is available at the City of Perth Parking Centre at 68 Roe Street, Northbridge which is 350 metres to the Shoe Bar. This is approximately $5 an hour until 6pm, and then free parking from 6:00pm onwards.
