A free community screening at the Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre of Firestarter – The Story of Bangarra. The film follows Stephen, David and Russell Page and the growth of Bangarra Dance Theatre from a small dance group into one of Australia's major First Nations cultural institutions, taking in the loss and reclaiming of culture, intergenerational trauma, and the power of art as a messenger for change and healing.

The centre is one of the old pilot cottages on Captains Lane overlooking Manjaree | Bathers Beach, open Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 3pm.
