About this event
Learn to play one of the world's oldest wind instruments in this beginner workshop at the Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre, facilitated by Mirliny. The hour covers foundational didgeridoo technique alongside the cultural history of the instrument. Mirliny is Jayden Boundry and Dylan Shillito, brothers who have shared culture together for many years through performance, dance, tool making and cultural workshops.
Good to know
For cultural reasons this workshop is open to males only. Didgeridoos are supplied by the facilitator and participants are welcome to bring their own. Refunds are available up until the class commences. The centre is one of the old pilot cottages on Captains Lane, overlooking Manjaree | Bathers Beach.
